Unrest Among Cast of One of Cable’s Highest-Rated Shows

The cast of one of the most popular shows on cable TV is reportedly livid at being “blindsided” by the show’s network, according to TMZ.com.

The show is the runaway hit “Pawn Stars,” which has helped elevate History to one of the top-rated cable channels. Cast members are angry that they were not informed about the network’s plan to launch a spinoff, "Cajun Pawn Stars," according to the story.

The cast of the reality show only learned about the spinoff when the network officially announced it, the report says. Cast members had previously been told that there wouldn’t be any spinoff shows, and now they feel betrayed, according to the story.

"Pawn Stars," set at a family-owned pawn shop in Las Vegas, is the top-rated show on History. "Cajun Pawn Stars" debuted earlier this month and features a family-owned pawn shop in Louisiana.

  1. They are delusional. No network would ever make this type of guarantee.

  2. American Restorations is a spinoff. But a new show with a similar format is not! Pawn Stars is a great show and the owners of the shop certainly know how to run their business. The hissy-fit is obviously about money!

  3. Appreciate the recommendation. Let me try it out.

  4. You’ve made some really good points there. I looked on the web for more info about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this web site.

  5. Appreciation to my father who stated to me on the topic of this webpage,
    this website is truly amazing.
