‘Glee’ Casts Former ‘Melrose Place’ Star as Puck’s Father

A former "Melrose Place" star has been cast on Fox’s "Glee" as Noah "Puck" Puckerman’s (Mark Salling) father, reports TVLine.com. Thomas Calabro will appear in the role during the 18th episode of the season, set to air in late April.

Puck’s relationship with his father isn’t exactly "Father Knows Best," as the old man has been estranged from the family … which could explain why Puck has been such a punk at McKinley High.

"Glee" returns from its seven-week winter break April 10, when another family-oriented episode will air. Matt Bomer ("White Collar") will show up as Blaine’s older brother.
