NBC Entertainment has announced the appointment of an executive who recently left Showtime Networks, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Dianne Hatlestad is the division’s new vice president of talent management, the story reports. Making the announcement was Executive VP of Communications Richard Licata.
Said Licata: "Dianne’s expertise in talent relations is second to none. She has a miraculous way of balancing the needs of the network and the artists who produce the shows — critical skills in shaping a brand. We’re looking forward to having Dianne’s wealth of experience and extraordinary industry relationships here at NBC."
Hatlestad was talent relations director at Showtime Networks for more than five years.
Licata also came to NBC from Showtime, making the move in July 2011. The exedus of executives from Showtime to NBC started when NBC hired Robert Greenblatt, Showtime’s former president of entertainment, as its chairman of entertainment in January, 2011.
