NBC has renewed a freshman drama series for a second season, reports Deadline.com. In the first of what is expected to be a number of early pickups by the network, it gave a 22-episode order for season two of “Grimm.”

The program is produced by Universal TV and Sean Hayes ("Will & Grace") and Todd Milliner’s Hazy Mills Productions.

The plot of the show involves Grimm, played by David Giuntoli, a homicide detective who hunts down supernatural baddies.

  1. I never miss this show. Ever. It’s really good and quite original.
But you know, if someone ever decides to bring the series back to the small screen, David Giuntoli would make a great Superman.

  2. Yes and Yes!!!

  3. Forget small screen, we’re in desperate need of a good BIG screen actor to play Kal-El – maybe something to do during hiatus?

  4. Grimm is a good show, but Supernatural is a GREAT show.
