A new reality series is asking whether engaging in sex on a daily basis can save a couple’s marriage, reports TheWrap.com.
The Lifetime show, "7 Days of Sex," will debut April 26 and will feature two couples who try to fix their troubled relationships via a diet of daily intercourse, the story says.
"The real question is, will the public be able to stomach that diet?" the story asks.
"’7 Days of Sex’ is a reflection of the challenges in our relationships — balancing time, family, work and trying to achieve real intimacy while being honest and true to ourselves,” said Lifetime President Nancy Dubuc, the article notes.
SPOILER ALERT!
The answer to the question posed by this show: NOPE.
Really? Are you sure you were doing it right? The series and the question behind it both seem to indicate that just doing it by yourself probably won’t work.
Also – if at any time during intercourse your partner says something along the lines of “just don’t hurt me” and / or “I promise I’ll never tell anyone”, you still may not be doing it right. But hang in there, buddy – we’re all rootin for ya’.
