Sharon Osbourne Fires Back After Being Accused by Leah Remini of Getting Her Fired

Mar 15, 2012  •  Post A Comment

Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter to give her own version of events after being accused by Leah Remini of being behind Remini’s firing from the CBS talk show "The Talk," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As previously reported, Remini made the claim on Twitter, blaming her firing and that of fellow co-host Holly Robinson Peete on Osbourne.

“I had absolutely nothing to do w her departure from the show & have no idea why she continues to take to Twitter to spread this false gossip. Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show," Osbourne said via Twitter.

She added that her "only wish" is that Remini "would just stop all this negative, unprofessional, and childish behavior," according to the story.

  1. At the risk of sounding like the late Andy Rooney, “w her departure?” “*With* her departure.”
On a sidenote, I do enjoy reading TVWeek’s stories (and have for many years). I don’t want you to think I look at them just so I can submit corrections.

  2. Steve–the offending word is within a quoted sentence. If anything TVWeek is guilty of omitting a (sic), but not the twitter language of Sharon Osborne.

  3. I just reread it. You’re right, I’m sorry!
