After being nominated for six consecutive years — including one win — for the Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series, “Two and a Half Men’s” Jon Cryer has decided to have his work submitted for outstanding lead actor for 2012, TVLine.com reports.

For the first two years of the show’s run, Cryer and former co-star Charlie Sheen submitted in that category, with no success, according to the Goldderby.com website. Sheen subsequently stayed in the lead actor category and was nominated four times, from 2006-2009, but never won.
