WE tv announced two new shows today, including one featuring a well-known pop singer and another built around a Playboy model.

“Cyndi” is the working title for a docu-series featuring singer Cyndi Lauper. Meanwhile, former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett will be the focus of “Kendra on Top,” the network announced.

Executive producer Mark Burnett will oversee "Cyndi," a docu-soap about the singer’s work and her family life with her husband, actor David Thornton, and their 13-year-old son. Deadline.com reports that 12 episodes are planned, with the show scheduled to air in the summer.

"Kendra On Top" examines Wilkinson-Baskett’s life as a wife and mother, with plans calling for 14 episodes, including an hour-long premiere and hour-long finale, with the other 12 episodes running 30 minutes each. The series will also air over the summer, Deadline.com reports.

WE tv President and General Manager Kim Martin said in a statement announcing the shows: “Like WE tv’s viewers, Kendra and Cyndi are strong, independent, confident women who are the centerpieces of their families’ lives. They are surrounded by the chaos that’s created as they try to balance their many roles, which makes them such relatable, entertaining and fun characters to watch. As the home for stories that showcase every kind of family and all kinds of drama, we’re so excited to welcome Kendra and Cyndi to WE tv.”
