A long-running syndicated entertainment newsmagazine show has announced a round of staff cuts. More than 14 people were let go by “Access Hollywood," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The show won’t change its major on-air talent, which includes host Billy Bush, the piece adds. Most of the layoffs are coming from the research department, according to a representative for the show, who attributed the cuts to "staffing adjustments that make sense for our business and position us well for the future.”

The show’s ratings season-to-date are up 5% from last year, while viewership in its key demographic of women 25 to 54 is up 8%, the story notes.
