High-Ranking NBCUniversal Ad Exec Leaves Company

Apr 12, 2012  •  Post A Comment

A high-ranking advertising executive at NBCUniversal has left the company, Adweek.com reports. The story cites multiple sources saying Steve Mandala has exited his position after 10 years with the company.

Mandala, who oversaw sales teams for NBCU’s 14-network cable portfolio, won’t be replaced, the story notes.

He joined NBCU when his then-employer Telemundo was bought by the network, and he survived the merger of Comcast and NBCU, when many other executives left, the piece points out.

"Mandala’s departure does not appear to be part of a larger exodus," the story adds.
