By now it’s almost expected, but the Tony Awards announced who will be hosting this year’s installment of the annual awards ceremony, and once again it’s Neil Patrick Harris, Deadline.com reports.

This will be the third time hosting the awards for Harris, a two-time Emmy winner best known as Barney on CBS’s sitcom "How I Met Your Mother." He also hosted in 2009 and 2011.

CBS will present the 66th Annual Tony Awards from the Beacon Theater in New York on June 10, at 8 p.m. ET.

Harris has been a regular on TV and the big screen since he debuted as Doogie Howser in Steven Bochco’s series “Doogie Howser, M.D.” in 1989. His Tony-hosting gigs have been well-received, showcasing his range of comedic and musical talents.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s Tony Awards,” said Harris. “Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I’ll score some free house seats to a show — or five!”

Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment will return as executive producers. Weiss will also serve as director for the 13th consecutive year.

Here’s a clip of Harris’ opening number from the 2011 Tonys …
