The frenzy over Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks, dubbed "Linsanity" by the media around the world, is the subject of a documentary film being pitched in Hollywood, reports the Los Angeles Times.

CAA is shopping a sample reel that chronicles the Harvard grad’s unexpected impact as he made the transition from bench player to starting point guard for the legendary NBA team. Evan Jackson Leong is directing the project.

Lin, an ESPN favorite, is already the star of a bunch of YouTube videos, but the point guard’s regular season ended recently due to an injury and surgery to his knee.
