After hitting her head during Monday’s "Dancing with the Stars," former "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert sat out Tuesday’s edition of the ABC show, reports People.com.

"On her doctor’s advice she is taking a rest day, and if they get through tonight she’ll be able to compete going forward," host Tom Bergeron said. He described her injury as a "mild concussion,’ the story notes.

As previously reported, Gilbert was rushed to the hospital during Monday’s live show after hitting her head while performing the Paso Doble.
