Liz Brixius, one of the two women who created Showtime’s dark comedy "Nurse Jackie," has signed a new two-year deal with Universal TV, reports Deadline.com.

Brixius will again be working with Bob Greenblatt, the former Showtime chief who is now overseeing NBC and Universal TV.

Brixius will develop new projects for Universal. She recently exited "Nurse Jackie," where she had been co-creator and executive producer with Linda Wallem.
