An unusual rollout is in the works for the long-awaited fourth season of "Arrested Development," reports Joe Adalian in New York Magazine’s Vulture blog.

All 10 episodes of the season will premiere on a single day next year on Netflix, creator Mitch Hurwitz said at a Netflix-sponsored event in Las Vegas, according to the report. Hurwitz originally thought the show would be revived as an anthology, with each episode featuring a specific character, the story notes.

"That is now kind of evolving into becoming more like the old show again," Hurwitz said. He didn’t mention the "Arrested Development" movie, which has been thought to be coming out after the TV revival, the story notes.

Hurwitz also said the character of Bob Loblaw, played by Scott Baio, will return, which drew strong applause from the audience, the piece adds.

“Arrested Development,” which originally aired on Fox, has been off the air since it wrapped its initial three-season run February 2006.
