A&E has announced the renewal of a reality series for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show is "Duck Dynasty," which chronicles the lives of the Louisiana family the Robertsons, who are in the duck call business.
The series will air another 26 half-hour episodes starting later this year.
A&E’s executive vice president of programming, David McKillop, said in a statement: “There is truly no one else like the Robertsons in the TV landscape. We are proud to have them as a part of our A&E family and excited to bring fans a new season of their unique brand of Southern schooling.”
"Duck Dynasty" is one of the network’s fastest-growing series.In the first season, it averaged 2.6 million total viewers — including 1.5 million in the 18-49 demographic — making it the top-rated cable show on the night it airs.
Gurney Productions produces the show.
