Oscar-winning actress and singing superstar Cher is preparing to give Broadway a shot in a new show that will be all about Cher, TheWrap.com reports.

The show will tell Cher’s life story. Cher tweeted about the project, saying: "Its VERY SLOW PROCESS! been working on it quite a while now."

The Cher song catalog from "I Got You Babe" to "Believe" will be incorporated in the show. Three versions of Cher will appear in the production, presumably played by three actresses: one Cher from "The Sonny and Cher" years; one from the period after she broke up with Sonny and became a solo success; and finally the older Cher from the "Believe" tour to the present day.

Risa Shapiro, Cher’s spokeswoman, said no date has been set for the show, indicating it still needs years of work.

Cher joked about possibly taking the stage herself, tweeting: "I could b old Cher! Shes wise n tells 2 young 1’s not 2 fear future."
