One of the regulars on CBS’s long-running crime procedural “CSI” has agreed to return for another season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Eric Szmanda, who plays Greg Sanders on the series, will be back for the 13th season of the show, the story reports.
Szmanda has been on the program since the start in 2000. His re-upping with the show comes on the heels of Jorja Fox and George Eads also signing on for another season with "CSI."
Season 12 was a time of transition for “CSI,” with a move from Thursday to Wednesday along with numerous cast changes, the story notes. Ted Danson took over for Laurence Fishburne at the start of the season, with Elisabeth Shue, Marg Helgenberger’s replacement, joining in midseason.
Additionally, Peri Gilpin arrived as the wife of Danson’s character in the season finale.
