20th Century Fox TV has signed a new multiyear agreement with "How I Met Your Mother" executive producer Chuck Tatham, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tatham will remain with "HIMYM" as an executive producer and will develop other projects for the studio, the story notes.

"When Chuck comes in to pitch, it’s full of life and tantalizing and gets you right to the bone," said Jonathan Davis, 20th TV executive vice president, comedy development and animation. He said he would like Tatham to explore a family comedy project based on his own life, the story notes.

Tatham previously served as co-executive producer on "Arrested Development." His other credits include "Suddenly Susan," "Less Than Perfect" and "Andy Barker, P.I.”
