A TV series project for next season based on the Peter Pan story is coming together at Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV, reports Deadline.com.

The high-profile project, "The League of Pan," centers on the Lost Boys a decade after they’ve left Neverland, the story notes.

The idea comes from Brian McCauley Johnson, who is described as an up-and-coming writer. The studios are looking for a showrunner who would also co-write with Johnson; once a showrunner is tapped, they plan to take it to the networks, the story says.

"’The League Of Pan’ comes at a time when contemporary dramas with fairytale elements are hot following the success of freshman breakouts ‘Once Upon a Time’ on ABC and ‘Grimm’ on NBC," the story reports.
