A veteran U.S. pop-rock singer has revealed that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Sheryl Crow, known for hits including “All I Wanna Do,” “Strong Enough” and “If It Makes You Happy,” said the tumor is benign. She said she got tested after she became concerned about her memory, the story reports.

"I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor," Crow said. She had recently forgotten some lyrics on stage, the piece adds.

"I haven’t really talked about it," said the 50-year-old singer. "In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit."
