Ridley Scott’s science-fiction film "Prometheus" has sold its first-run television rights, reports Deadline.com. The movie made a deal with cable channel FX.
The film debuted last weekend and grossed about $50 million domestically.
The agreement means FX will air the current No. 1 and No. 2 movies as the network had already acquired DreamWorks Animation’s "Madagascar 3," the story notes.
