Series Renewal for the Most-Watched Cable Series of the Year in Children 2-5

The show that is the most-watched cable series of 2012 among children between 2 and 5 has received a renewal, B&C reports. Disney Junior announced that it will bring back “Doc McStuffins” for a second season.

The animated series focuses on a little girl who can talk to and heal stuffed animals.

The show will air both on Disney Junior and on the Disney Junior morning block on the Disney Channel.

In addition to being the most-watched cable series of 2012 in the 2-5 demo, “McStuffins” is the highest-rated preschool cable series in total viewers and women 18-49, the story notes.
