ABC has ordered eight episodes of a new show from Seven One International, Deadline.com reports. The show is the cooking competition “The Taste,” produced by Kinetic Content.

The show features celebrity chefs Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain, the story reports. It will have four experts who each mentor a team consisting of professional and amateur chefs, the piece says.

Bourdain is also working on a CNN weekend show that will premiere in 2013, the story notes. He has been in a war of words with Food Network star Paula Deen, including calling her “the most dangerous person in America,” as previously reported.
