An award-winning ABC series that was canceled in 2009 might become a Broadway show, TVLine.com reports. The show is "Pushing Daisies," which aired from 2007-2009 and won a number of Emmys during its run — including outstanding directing for Barry Sonnenfeld in 2008 and outstanding supporting actress for Kristin Chenoweth in 2009.

Show creator Bryan Fuller hinted at the Broadway angle during a panel at Comic-Con, the story notes. "We’re working on something that is definitely a ‘Pushing Daisies’ revival,” he said, “and the idea would be to have as many cast [members] as we can to participate in it.”

"Mockingbird Lane," one of Fuller’s current projects, "looks like a $150 million movie," he added. His other project "Hannibal," a prequel to "Silence of the Lambs," will start shooting in August, the piece notes.
