A Grammy Award-winning singer has signed on for the upcoming season of NBC’s “The Voice,” where she will be part of Adam Levine’s team, Rolling Stone reports.
The new team member is R&B star Mary J. Blige, who will be an adviser to the Levine team during the show’s third season.
Levine had Robin Thicke and Alanis Morrisette on his team last season.
Also joining “The Voice” is Michael Buble, who was recently announced as a member of Blake Shelton’s team.
"The Voice" premieres Sept. 10. The show is slated for fall and spring runs during 2012-2013.
