ABC has given full-season orders to two series, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed. The shows are the freshman comedy "The Neighbors" and the sophomore drama "Scandal."

"The Neighbors," a science-fiction comedy about a couple who move into a gated community populated by aliens, has been a modest performer, the report notes. ABC added three episodes to its order for the series, which stars Jami Gertz and Lenny Venito.

Meanwhile, the political drama "Scandal," from Shonda Rhimes, will gain a full-season order of 22 hours, up from 13 episodes. The program, which stars Kerry Washington, has been a steady draw for the network, the story notes.

  1. why? The Neighbors is just stupid, and Scandal looks like a two casted show between a lawyer and A President….cancel them both…..

  2. Scandal is not so bad. Well except for the pained expression on Kerry Washington’s face but hey I’m not an actor so what do I know.
