Gordon Ramsay is working with producer Scott Stuber of "Ted" on a drama for NBC that’s set in a restaurant, reports Deadline.com.
Created by Liz Garcia and Josh Harto, the creators of TNT’s dramedy "Memphis Beat," the project landed at NBC in a "competitive situation" with Fox, the story notes.
Titled "The Inferno," the project is said to be a dark drama about two New York restaurateurs who hire a mysterious Italian chef. "Smash" director Michael Mayer is attached to direct.
Ramsay will executive produce, along with Garcia, Harto, Mayer and others. The project is from Universal TV with Bluegrass Television and Ramsay’s One Potato, Two Potato.
