TNT has cast actresses Mira Sorvino and Rebecca Romijn in pilots, reports TheWrap.com. Sorvino, an Oscar winner for the 1995 Woody Allen film “Mighty Aphrodite,” has been cast in "Trooper," a procedural from Jerry Bruckheimer. Romijn will star in "King and Maxwell.”

In “Trooper,” Sorvino will play a recently divorced state trooper with three kids. The project previously received a pilot order from CBS, but didn’t move forward.

Romijn will be featured in “King and Maxwell” as a former secret service agent who takes on investigations in Washington, D.C.

Says the article, "Jon Tenney (‘The Closer’) will play Maxwell’s partner, Sean King. Adapted from characters created by author David Baldacci, ‘King and Maxwell’ is being being produced for TNT by CBS Television Studios and Shane Brennan Productions, with Shane Brennan (of ‘NCIS,’ ‘NCIS: LA’) as executive producer and Karen Spiegel ("Absolute Power") and Grant Anderson (‘Third Watch’) as producers.

"Baldacci serves as a consultant on the project."

  1. Did you mean Ton Tenney of the Closer? And he will play Sean King? I’m a college student and it took me 2 min. to get it right. You’re paid to do this for a living, right?

  2. Jon Tenney

  3. Yes, we forgot to include, in our summary, that Sean King will be played by Jon Tenney. We have now added that information to our item. Thanks, Chuck
