A new list is out naming the highest-paid actors in television, and at the top of the list, compiled by Forbes magazine, is the star of CBS’s "Two and a Half Men," Ashton Kutcher. The actor, who replaced Charlie Sheen on the comedy series, earned $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012, according to Forbes.com.

Next in line are Hugh Laurie and Ray Romano, who reportedly each earned $18 million during the period. Laurie recently finished his run on Fox’s "House," which wrapped at the end of its eighth season in April, the story notes. Romano’s “Men of a Certain Age” failed to deliver huge audiences to TNT, but he continues to rake in syndication money for “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

The fourth- and fifth-highest paid TV actors are Alec Baldwin of "30 Rock" and Mark Harmon of "NCIS," both with $15 million in earnings.

Rounding out the top 10 — or top 11, with a three-way tie for ninth place: Tim Allen ($14 million), Jon Cryer ($13 million), Patrick Dempsey ($12 million), Jim Parsons ($8 million), Johnny Galecki ($8 million), Jason Segel ($8 million).

One of the actors dropping off the list this year is Charlie Sheen, the story notes.

"Sheen isn’t the only member of last year’s top 10 who’s dropped off (though Sheen might return in the future thanks to his great deal on the show ‘Anger Management’),” the piece reports. “Steve Carrell, who ranked third last year with $15 million in earnings, left the NBC sitcom ‘The Office’ in 2011, and the world of television, so now he’ll need to prove himself as a movie star.”
