Al Gore to Lead Current TV’s Election Night Coverage

Former Vice President and presidential candidate Al Gore will lead Current TV’s election night coverage, reports UPI.com. Gore is the co-founder of Current TV and has been sitting in on the network’s debate coverage during the election season.

Current TV’s coverage of the election will begin at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

In a statement from the network, a spokesperson said, "Gore will lead a roundtable and will be joined by other Current anchors including former Michigan governor and host of ‘The War Room’ Jennifer Granholm, former New York governor and host of ‘Viewpoint’ Eliot Spitzer, new media expert and host of ‘The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur and comedian, commentator and host of ‘So That Happened’ John Fugelsang."

Current’s election night coverage will originate from Current’s studio in San Francisco, home to "The War Room with Jennifer Granholm" and "The Gavin Newsom Show."
