In a case that is reportedly under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, actor Charlie Sheen allegedly threatened to shoot a man to death with a semi-automatic shotgun, TMZ.com reports, citing a police report filed with the LAPD.

The man making the allegations claims to be a former associate of Sheen’s and filed the report Oct. 18. He claims he’s afraid Sheen will kill him based on a text message Sheen allegedly sent to a mutual friend, which reportedly read, "I’ll blow his head off with my Super 90."

The message reportedly followed a bad falling out between Sheen and the man who filed the report.

TMZ said it reached out to Sheen for comment but hasn’t received one.

The report adds: “A source close to the actor wouldn’t go into detail … but told us, ‘The accuser is a dishonorably discharged military person with multiple probation violations who is trying to shake him down for money.’"
