The daughter of a well-known rock performer was arrested today on drug possession charges after what is suspected to be a heroin overdose, Reuters reports.

Stephanie Bongiovi, the 19-year-old daughter of Jon Bon Jovi, was arrested in Clinton, N.Y., after she was found unresponsive in a dorm room at Hamilton College, the piece reports. Police said she was taken to a local medical facility, adding that heroin and marijuana were found in the room.

“Bongiovi was later booked on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance (heroin), marijuana possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia,” the report says. She was later released.

Reps for Jon Bon Jovi declined to comment, the report notes.

“Police said Ian S. Grant, 21, a student who was in the same room as Bongiovi, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and later released,” the report adds. “Both Bongiovi and Grant will appear in court at a later date.”
