BET’s "Real Husbands of Hollywood," a spoof of the "Real Housewives" franchise, drew a big audience for its Tuesday debut, with 4.1 million viewers tuning in, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker.

The scripted series stars Kevin Hart, Robin Thicke, Boris Kodjoe and J.B. Smoove as men married to famous performers.

The debut of the show trails only that of the 2011 premiere of "The Game," the comedy series BET picked up after it was canceled by the CW, which drew 7.7 million viewers on BET.

The strong turnout for "Real Husbands" "indicates that BET, which traditionally has focused on unscripted and music-oriented programming, is on its way to establishing a foothold in the scripted comedy area," the story notes.

BET also did well Tuesday night with another new program, “Second Generation Wayans.” Leading out from “Real Husbands,” “Wayans” delivered 3.4 million viewers. Tallying up one encore airing each for “Wayans” and “Husbands,” the programs delivered a combined audience of 11 million viewers Tuesday night, the piece reports.
