The stuntman who was injured last week during taping of ABC’s "Castle" is still in the hospital but is improving, reports Deadline.com.

The stuntman is Kieran Gallagher, who was Ed Helms’ stunt double in two "Hangover" films, the story says. He has been removed from a ventilator and is showing signs of recovery, the piece reports.

Gallagher has worked on a number of television series, including “CSI” and “Raising Hope.”

As we reported previously, actress Karen David was also injured in the accident, in which they fell out of a van.
