CBS News has tapped former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as a regular contributor, reports The New York Times’ Media Decoder.

Rice will comment on national and international issues, the network said. She served under President George W. Bush from 2005 to 2009 as Secretary of State, and was national security adviser from 2001 to 2005.

Networks have hired other Bush administration figures as commentators, including Karl Rove and John Bolton, who are both working for Fox News, the piece points out.

  1. Great, CBS gets Ms. Rice, Fox gets Dennis Kucinich. Definitely proves Fox is fair and balanced. I guess adding Condoleeza to Fox would make them seem even more right wing biased even though anyone who really watched them knows it ain’t so.
