Comedic actor Larry Miller, who’s well-known for television appearances on shows including "Boston Legal," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Seinfeld," along with feature films including "Princess Diaries" and "Runaway Bride," has recovered from a serious brain injury, reports People magazine.

Miller, 58, took a fall last April, hit his head and wound up in a coma. Just before the fall, he had completed a podcast with Adam Carolla.

Miller was hospitalized at the UCLA Medical Center and placed on life support, remaining in the hospital for a month. According to his spokesman Michael Hansen, "He was hovering between life and death. It’s a miracle he woke up. … He’s lucky to be alive."

Hansen added: “He had to work on some issues regarding brain connectivity."

Miller told People, "I’m very thankful to have recovered from a traumatic brain injury so quickly." He is expected to make a full recovery, and has resumed his podcast series "This Week with Larry Miller." A new episode airs today.
