CBS’s reality competition "The Amazing Race" returned to its lowest-rated premiere ever, continuing a midseason ratings slump for the broadcast networks, reports EW.com’s Inside TV.
The series returned Sunday night with 9.5 million viewers and a 2.4 rating among adults 18 to 49 years old. That marked a decline of 14% from last year, the story says.
The program wasn’t helped by its lead-in, "The Good Wife," which was down 7% from its last episode three weeks ago, the story adds.
