Netflix Chief Executive Reed Hastings said that the streaming service’s revival of "Arrested Development" is likely to vary from most of the other original programming the service is producing, reports Deadline.com.

For most of its announced original series, such as "House of Cards" with Kevin Spacey, Netflix will be producing more than one season.

However, Hastings said Netflix is only going to produce one season of "Arrested Development."

Hastings, who spoke at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Technology conference, said the show is a "fantastic one-off which is coming together incredibly.”

"We don’t anticipate being able to do season five, six and seven,” he said, according to the story.

"Arrested Development," which first aired on Fox, will debut 14 new episodes on Netflix in May.
