A member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association who was the only person to attend all 70 of the Golden Globes ceremonies has died, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Maureen Dragone, 93, died Feb. 8, the piece reports.

Dragone was the daughter of an HFPA founder and served as the recognized historian of the organization, the story says. She also wrote "Who Makes the Golden Globes Go Around," an account of the creation of the group.

She appeared in good health on Jan. 13, when she attended the 70th Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton. Her mother, Nora Laing, was one of the group’s founders.

The story notes that her mother also died at age 93.

The first Golden Globes event took place in 1944 at the Fox studios, the piece says.

In 1978, Dragone created the Youth in Film Association, dedicated to celebrating the achievements of actors and musicians younger than 21, the story says. The group is now called the Young Artist Foundation.
