Can David Copperfield Whip Up Some Magic for NBC’s ‘Today’?

NBC is hoping illusionist David Copperfield will whip up some magic for its morning show "Today," reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

Copperfield will be featured every Monday on the show this month, the story notes. The morning show is trying to reverse a slump that has the NBC program — which dominated the morning ratings until recently — now being beaten regularly by ABC competitor "Good Morning America."

Copperfield is known for big stunts such as making the Statue of Liberty disappear on TV.
