The new project from the creator of the wildly successful AMC zombie series “The Walking Dead” tackles another edgy topic: exorcism. EW.com’s Inside TV reports that “Walking” creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman’s upcoming TV project is about a man plagued by possession.

The show focuses on a young man who has been affected by possession since he was a child, and as an adult searches out the reasons behind it, the story notes. The description of the show adds: "What he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it.”

Kirkman is developing the script for Fox International Channels, and the project would most likely need a U.S. network signed on to distribute the show in North America. Given the success of "The Walking Dead," that probably won’t be difficult, the story notes.
