NBC will bring back a reality competition series after a hiatus, renewing the show for a fourth season. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that the network is reviving the a capella singing competition show "The Sing-Off."

The show has been off the air for a year and a half after ending its third season in November 2011 with what the article calls "modest ratings."

"The Sing-Off" started a casting website Wednesday, announcing four cities where it will hold auditions: Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City, starting next month.
