Ted Koppel Blasts NBC’s Handling of ‘Rock Center’

Former "Nightline" anchor Ted Koppel is lashing out at NBC over its treatment of Brian Williams and his "Rock Center," criticizing the network for shuffling the program on its schedule, reports the Associated Press.

Koppel, who reports on tonight’s "Rock Center" about young offenders in adult prisons, says the show hasn’t been helped by its scheduling moves.

"Just when you think somebody might figure out when it’s on and want to see it the next week, they move it to another place," Koppel said. "That’s not helpful, and I think Brian deserves more support than that."

"Rock Center" debuted in 2011 and has held time periods on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. It currently airs on Fridays.
