Cablevision’s Dolans See Huge Pay Raises

Cablevision Systems CEO James Dolan and his father, chairman and founder Charles Dolan, each received raises last year of about 50% over what they made in 2011, reports B&C.

James Dolan received $16.9 million in 2012 total compensation, or a 48% jump, while his father received $16.6 million last year, an increase of about 50%.

While base salaries were unchanged at $1.75 million for James and $1.66 million for Charles, both saw big jumps due to option awards. Charles Dolan was given $7.1 million in option awards last year, while James Dolan was given $6.9 in option awards. Neither received option awards in 2011.
