Fox Sports has been hit with a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination. The Hollywood Reporter’s Hollywood, Esq., reports that fired executive Jerry Davis claims in his suit that no black person has ever held a position of vice president or above at the News Corp. unit.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, says Davis is a 52-year-old black man who worked as a director in the music department. He claims he was passed over four separate times for promotion "because, as a black man, he did not fit neatly into the company’s corporate culture," according to the lawsuit.

Fox declined to comment, the story notes.

Davis claims he didn’t receive any promotions while working at Fox Sports, and alleges that the company eliminated his job while he was on disability leave "without providing any interactive process or attempts at accommodation," the story says.
