Ratings Surge for Masters Golf Tournament

CBS’s coverage of Sunday’s final round of the 2013 Masters Tournament, in which Australian Adam Scott won the Green Jacket in a two-hole playoff over Argentina’s Angel Cabrera, saw a surge in ratings.

CBS Sports announced that the telecast earned an average household rating/share of 10.2/21 in Nielsen metered markets, up 26% from last year’s 8.1/19.

The coverage peaked with a 13.4/25 from 7-7:30 p.m. ET.

Coverage of Saturday’s third round on CBS delivered an average HH rating/share of 6.3/15, up 24% from last year’s 5.1/12 in metered markets, the network reported. The third-round rating peaked with a 7.2/17 from 5:30-6 p.m. ET.
