Actress Reese Witherspoon has canceled television appearances on shows including "Good Morning America" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" following her embarrassing arrest with her husband, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.

As previously reported, Witherspoon and her husband, CAA agent James Toth, were arrested and briefly jailed early Friday morning. Toth is facing a DUI charge, while Witherspoon was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after reportedly disobeying instructions from the arresting officer.

Among the things she allegedly said to the officer were, "Do you know my name?" and "You’re about to find out who I am," according to reports. Witherspoon apologized for her behavior late Sunday, blaming "one drink too many."

Witherspoon skipped her TV appearances on Monday following the embarrassing episode, although her co-star in the movie "Mud," Matthew McConaughey, went on with planned interviews on "GMA," "The View" and "Late Show with David Letterman."
