Fox kicked off the upfront season Wednesday by announcing it has picked up five new comedies and four new dramas for the fall, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker.

The comedies are:

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine," a cop comedy starring "Saturday Night Live" alum Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher.

"Dads," from "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane. It stars Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi as childhood friends whose dads move in with them.

"Enlisted," which is about three brothers on a Florida Army base, and is written and created by "South Park’s” Kevin Biegel.

"Us & Them," starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel, adapted from the hit BBC comedy "Gavin & Stacey."

"Surviving Jack," starring "Law & Order: SVU" alum Christopher Meloni as a father in Southern California during the 1990s.

The dramas are:

"Almost Human," by J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman. It’s set 25 years in the future when androids work with humans on the police force.

"Gang Related," a law enforcement drama about a member of Los Angeles’ anti-gang task force. It stars Ramon Rodriguez.

"Rake," starring Greg Kinnear in his first broadcast series role as a self-destructive criminal defense attorney.

"Sleepy Hollow," in which Ichabod Crane is revived 250 years after his death to help solve a historical mystery.
