The Newseum in Washington, D.C., is opening an exhibit tied to the opening of the Will Ferrell film "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues."

TheWrap.com reports that the project by the journalism-focused museum looks at the rise of personality-driven news formats in the 1970s. The Newseum says the exhibit, timed to coincide with the release of the movie, “explores the reality behind the humor of ‘Anchorman.’”

The exhibit, which will open in November and will remain on display until August 2014, will feature costumes and original props from the movie, as well as a replica KVWN-TV anchor desk.
